AcuDetox: Healing in Community

BreatheReceive Co.

There is something powerful about healing alongside other people. That’s one of the reasons I love

AcuDetox - a simple, non-verbal ear acupuncture practice that creates space to slow down, soften &

receive.

AcuDetox uses the NADA 5-Needle Protocol, with up to five small, sterile, single-use needles gently

placed at specific points in each ear. People may experience a greater sense of calm, relaxation or

presence - & there is no “right” way to experience it.

What makes this practice especially meaningful to me is its grassroots history. The protocol grew out

of community-based care at Lincoln Hospital in the South Bronx during the 1970s, amid activism for

more accessible approaches to health & recovery. That history continues to influence how I share this

work today - we heal in community.

Through BreatheReceive Co., I offer AcuDetox alongside Conscious Breathwork, Reiki, EVOX, ear

seeds & ear bling, somatic practices, sound, workshops & events. I also love bringing these practices

into yoga studios, retreats, workplaces & community spaces. I’m also a co-owner & retreat curator of

Freebird Valley Collective, a Colorado mountain retreat space centered around gathering, connection

& community.

Everything is an invitation. Take what lands.
