Gathering to Remember

This is a guest post from Jackie DeConti, one of our presenters at the 2026 Denver Yoga Summit at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, September 11-13, 2026.

There's a certain kind of magic that lives in early fall — the golden light, the softening air, the quiet invitation to turn inward. I'm feeling so much excitement and deep gratitude to be part of the Denver Yoga Summit this September, gathering in a space where practice, community, and the natural world weave together so seamlessly. These are the kinds of spaces that feel less like events and more like living, breathing rituals — where something meaningful unfolds simply because we chose to show up together.

This year, I'll be offering Resonance & Radiance: Mantra, Mudra, and Meditation, a gentle, immersive experience centered around sound, stillness, and subtle awareness. Guided by the harmonium, we'll explore the medicine of mantra, the quiet intelligence of breath, and the grounding presence of mudra. There will be moments of call-and-response chanting, where voices rise and fall together, and moments of deep listening, where sound becomes something you feel rather than create.

What I'm most looking forward to is holding a space where nothing needs to be performed or perfected. You don't need to be a singer. You don't need to know anything. You can hum, whisper, or simply receive. This practice is about softening the edges, attuning to the body's inner rhythm, and remembering that presence is enough.

More than anything, I'm excited to be in community — to share space with other teachers, to learn, to listen, and to be part of something that feels rooted, intentional, and alive.
